Information Technology Department

Our Mission:

The Information Technology Department is at the core of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe's efforts to empower and connect our community through innovative and accessible tech solutions. Dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of tribal operations and delivering seamless services, we focus on making digital resources available to all community members. Unique among our priorities is the integration of technology with our cultural heritage, creating sustainable, adaptable tech frameworks to meet our tribe’s needs and support future generations.

Our Vision:

We envision the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe as a pioneer in using technology for empowerment, economic growth, and cultural preservation. Aiming to close the digital divide, we seek to enhance digital literacy and connectivity, making technology a fundamental aspect of tribal life. Our future initiatives include expanding high-speed internet access, developing platforms for cultural preservation, and leveraging smart technologies for improved public services, all while upholding our environmental and cultural values.

Objectives:

To ensure the mission and vision of the Information Technology Department come to fruition, it's pivotal that clear, actionable objectives are established. These objectives will serve as milestones on our path towards achieving our broader goals.

  • We're committed to improving digital literacy and ensuring our digital services are reliable and efficient. Our goal is to enhance response times to technical issues and maintain high service availability.

  • This year, we plan to initiate projects aimed at preserving and digitizing important data. We're also focused on expanding access to high-speed internet in underserved areas.

  • We're implementing advanced systems to gather immediate feedback on our technology services. Additionally, we will offer workshops to educate on safe and effective technology use.
